Victoria Maxwell
Victoria is a Senior Associate Solicitor and Collaborative Lawyer at a specialist family law practice, Edward Cooke Family Law based in their Chilgrove office, Chichester.
Victoria started her career in London where she obtained over 10 years of family law experience at various leading central London firms. In April 2023 Victoria moved back to West Sussex where she
grew up and joined Edward Cooke Family Law.
Victoria has experience in all areas of family law, including finances upon divorce and private children matters. Victoria has also developed a particular specialism in international
surrogacy.
As a member of Resolution and a trained Collaborative Lawyer, Victoria is committed to resolving disputes constructively and has successfully managed to settle a large proportion of her cases without
needing to resort to litigation. Victoria’s commitment to resolving matters outside of court was recognised by Resolution as she was awarded Highly Commended in the Rising Star Award at the
Resolution Awards 2024. The Resolution Award recognised Victoria’s “outstanding contributions to the family justice sector” and “unwavering commitment to the Resolution Code of Practice”.
