With over 20 years’ experience in family law, Rachel Osgood specialises in financial claims on divorce and separation with a particular emphasis on high value cases and those involving inheritances, family businesses and claims by adult children.
Rachel’s approach is constructive and team-based, and she always put the needs of the children front and centre. That’s why she was one of the first lawyers in England to train as a
collaborative lawyer.
Rachel likes to work with clients, their ex-partners and the other lawyers to try to agree fair solutions. She finds that this team-based approach works incredibly well, particularly when the clients want to maintain a good relationship with each other and this means that she is often able to help clients reach agreement without having to go to court.

Outside of work, Rachel is a slave to her very spoilt cockapoo and teenage children. She is a child of the South Downs and is often to be found walking the chalk hills of her home.
