Bryan Scant
Bryan is a Partner at Knights and specialises in complex children law cases and finances on divorce, with a varied case load that also includes pre-nuptial agreements and matters involving unmarried couples. Bryan qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and later as a collaborative practitioner to help couples resolve any issues arising from their separation out of court.
As a member of Resolution, Bryan actively encourages his clients to resolve matters without having to resort to court proceedings and in a way that is as quick and cost effective as possible, often involving working closely with other practitioners to find a swift resolution.
Bryan has significant experience in acting for members of the armed forces, and his specialism is cases involving public sector pensions and how they are treated on divorce.
Bryan was involved in the Pension Advisory Group report on pensions on divorce, the Advice Now Guide to the treatment of pensions on divorce and has written a book on the subject.
Bryan also has a background in both probate and property field of law, enabling him to advise on matters involving landed estates and trusts as well as experience working on cases involving the relocation of children, both in and out of the UK.
